Lord Sin and the Pettypin Proposal copy.jpg

A brilliant lady Egyptologist, Lady Ollivette Pettypin, widow to Viscount Pettypin, doesn't plan on romance when she conspires with a reclusive earl to help her keep her secret. For years she’s been masquerading as her public persona, an infamous gentleman researcher. When she’s threatened with discovery, it will surely result in public humiliation and worse.  Suspecting deceit, the Royal Historical Society demands that her nom de plume appear in person or be declared a public fraud.  Desperate to maintain her anonymity, the lady propositions a reclusive earl, Robert Sinclair, earl of Darrow to appear in her place and declare that he is the famed researcher.

In exchange for his efforts, Ollie agrees to sponsor his young niece for her first London Season. Her plan is simple—she will instruct him on all things Egyptian in the weeks before the event.  What she doesn’t know is that he has been the loudest voice demanding that her persona show himself to the public.  He agrees, but when he learns who it is, she wants to impersonate; he thinks she is hiding the identity of the Egyptologist and makes it his mission to convince her the error of her ways and reveal whom it is she is really protecting.  As the two labor to achieve their goals, circumstances go awry and neither one can deny the intense attraction between them as well as the ever-deepening feelings of love they have for each other in this new twist of My Fair Lady.
